Tiny Home Communities

Tiny Home Communities

With the growing popularity of Tiny Homes, Tiny Home Communities are popping up all across the country. Each is unique. Some include over-night or longer-term rentals, others are focused on forming self-sufficient intentional communities based on eco-consciousness, while still others are non-profits or corporate ventures sponsored by Tiny Home lovers.  Many are in revitalized RV parks that have been turned into upscale resorts, while others have evolved humbly on private property.

Even large urban areas with active homeless populations (like Portland, OR) have been experimenting with building minimalist shelter communities with shared bath houses, kitchens, and common gardens to serve homeless populations and get them off the streets and into Tiny Homes or Pods where they can live productive lives with dignity and respect. Some City Councils have even approved such tiny home communities for the homeless, while others squat on empty lots in hopes they will be given a gift of land for permanent Tiny Homes, some on wheels and others on foundations.

Under TINY HOMES-Communities are lots of specific Tiny Home Communities you may want to read about or explore.  Contact information and photos are available for each.
